1SG James B. Manning, 84, died April 21, 2002, in Columbus, Georgia.

1SG Manning shot Service Rifle with USAMU National Trophy Group in the early to mid '60s. Jim was known as one of the best "straightaway" Infantry Trophy Team Match members and shot on a number of record setting  Army "Rattle-Battle" teams. He was awarded the U. S.
