Clement A. Hilsinger

Staff Sergeant (Retired) Clement A. Hilsinger, 81, a USAMU Shotgun Shooter, died February 10, 2011, in Venice, Florida.

SSG Hilsinger served in the Korean Conflict. His awards include the Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal w/Bronze Clasp (3 Loops), National Defense Service Medal w/Bronze Star, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Korean Service Medal w/Bronze Star, United Nations Service Medal (Korea), Korea Defense Service Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Badge w/Auto Rifle Bar, Pistol Bar, Submachine Gun Bar, and Tank Weapon Bar, Sharpshooter Badge w/Field Artillery Bar and Rifle Bar.

After retiring from the Army, Hilsinger retired from Dolly Madison after 19 years of employment. He was a life member of the VFW and the DAV.
