1999 Association Soldier of the Year SGT Julie A. Goloski Sergeant Julie A. Goloski, an Action Pistol Shooter with the Unitrd States Army Marksmanship Unit, was selected as the 1999 Military Marksmanship Association Soldier of the Year. SGT Goloski was presented with an engraved trophy pistol by the Association's president, "Mac" Johnson, at the Annual Meeting. A special thanks to Smith & Wesson Corporation for their generous donation of the trophy pistol. Sergeant Julie A. Goloski's 1999 Accomplishments Department of the Army Female Athlete of the Year Women's World Speed Shooting Champion Bianchi World Championship Woman's Silver Medalist Open National Champion Limited National Champion Bianchi Cup Military Gold Medalist and Female Silver Medalist Woman's Division Winner at Seven Area Championships Single Stack Classic Winner Golden Gate Invitational Winner Aware Invitational Winner Kentucky State Women's Champion SGT Goloski joined the Army in July 1995 and completed Military Police One-Station-Unit Training at Fort McClellan, Alabama, before she was assigned to the US Army Marksmanship Unit. Since then she has completed the Instructor Training Course and the Primary Leadership Development Course. A resident of Seneca Falls, New York, SGT Goloski graduated from Mynderse Academy in 1995.
