1999 Association Soldier of the Year
SGT Julie A. Goloski

Photo of SGT GoloskiSergeant Julie A. Goloski, an Action Pistol Shooter with the Unitrd States Army Marksmanship Unit, was selected as the 1999 Military Marksmanship Association Soldier of the Year.

SGT Goloski was presented with an engraved trophy pistol by the Association's president, "Mac" Johnson, at the Annual Meeting.

A special thanks to Smith & Wesson Corporation for their generous donation of the trophy pistol.

SGT Goloski joined the Army in July 1995 and completed Military Police One-Station-Unit Training at Fort McClellan, Alabama, before she was assigned to the US Army Marksmanship Unit. Since then she has completed the Instructor Training Course and the Primary Leadership Development Course.

A resident of Seneca Falls, New York, SGT Goloski graduated from Mynderse Academy in 1995. She is continuing her civilian education attending off-duty courses at Troy State University.
