Minutes of the Meeting
November
2002
1. Monthly Meeting: The monthly Executive Board Meeting
of the Military Marksmanship Association was held on November 20,
2002, in the Army Marksmanship Conference Room.

e. Call to Order: A quorum being
present, the President called the meeting to order at 1120 hours.
2. Treasurer's Report: Motion made, seconded, and carried to
approve the Treasurers Report for October 2002. Additionally, the
Treasurer provided a financial preview for November 2002.
3. Minutes: Motion made, seconded, and carried to approve the
Minutes of the Executive Board Meeting for October 2002 and the
Minutes of the General Membership Meeting for October 2002.
4. Unfinished Business:
a. Forty-sixth USAMU Anniversary and MMA Reunion:
The final attendance count was 306 persons including 184 members.
b. MMA Incorporation: Mr. Youmans
presented the MMA Corporate Seal and related incorporation document
to the President. The President, in-turn, instructed the Secretary to
secure the items.
5. New Business:
a. Annual Reports: The President noted
that the Constitution required all officers and committee chairs to
submit an annual report. Reports are due at the January Executive
Board Meeting. Additionally, the President stated that he would
provide copies of the briefing slides from last years Annual Meeting
and asked that they be updated with this years data.
b. MMA Times Mailing: Mailing of the
4th Quarter issue of the MMA Times newsletter was scheduled for 1000
hours, Friday, December 13, 2002.
c. USAMU Report: The USAMU Deputy
reported the following:
(1) SFC Graves won the ISSF World Cup
Finals held in Italy and was ranked as the number one skeet shooter
in the world.
(2) Army Shooting Adventure Package (ASAP) teams
(USAMU personnel using the unit's mobile recruiting display) provided
over 20,000 recruiting leads in 2002.
(3) USAMU Change of Command will occur in the
May-June period. Incoming Commander has not been announced.
6. Next Meeting: The next Executive Board Meeting will be held
at 1100 hours on Wednesday, December 18, 2002, in the USAMU
Conference Room, Building 243, Fort Benning, Georgia.
7. Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 1230 hours.
