The History of the USAMU and Its Members

Three years in the making!
The most comprehensive record of the USAMU ever published.

United States Army Marksmanship Unit 1956-2006
The History of the USAMU and Its Members

The Military Marksmanship Association (MMA), the United States Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU), and Turner Publishing Company are pleased to announce a reprint of the first edition book. Only a limited number of copies of this book remain. Once these books are sold out, there are no plans to reprint the book. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own a part of this history.

This unique book highlights the USAMU, its history, and its members. The fiftieth anniversary commemorative book features a large collection of never before published photographs—individual and team photos on nearly every page—along with the names and stories of the many individual who were or are now a part of the USAMU. This book is licensed by the MMA and approved by the USAMU.

The MMA and the USAMU worked with Turner Publishing Company to produce a quality-crafted book. Rest assured that this book will be a treasured publication you will be proud to own.

There are 312 pages in this 9x12 inch, hard bound book, with Smyth sewn binding (gold standard for the industry), and is printed in the USA on heavy-duty enameled archival paper.

  • Note: The illustration of the book cover, above and on the Turner Publishing Company web site, shows the USAMU emblem in color and the lettering in white. However, the actual book cover is dark green simulated leather with the USAMU emblem and lettering imprinted in gold leaf on a bas-relief of the emblem and title lettering. Very elegant!

  • Please do not call Turner Publishing Company to order the book as they are not accepting orders because they do not have the book in stock.

  • Please click here to complete the online order form. Sorry, but we can only accept checks or money orders.
